Our Shellar Door is in oyster heartland, Mooney Mooney. We demonstrate the technique of shucking around the harvest table so you can enjoy oysters fresh from the shell at home. 

Our Akoya pearl oysters are great to eat all year around due to our farming techniques which allow them to thrive and build up large energy reserves which act as a fatty layer of protection. This layer, made of glycogen, looks good to the eye and also means that our oysters look creamy on top. 

For those who can’t get enough, oysters by the dozen can be purchased on the day or can be preordered, subject to availability. Click here learn more about our oysters.
