Visit our Shellar Door

Situated on the edge of the stunning Lower Hawkesbury River, just one hour north of Sydney, is our Shellar Door. Visitors are welcome to come in and browse our selection of locally grown pearls, shells and jewellery, or enjoy some fresh local oysters at our outdoor seating alongside the river.  While you are here, why not join us on one of our guided tour experiences (bookings required).

OUR TOURS AND EXPERIENCES

In the hands of a Broken Bay Pearl Farmer sits an Akoya Pearl Oyster, opened and showing a stunning Australian Akoya pearl - untouched by chemicals or enhancements.

Secrets of Pearling

An assortment of Australian pearls, grown at both our Cygnet Bay and Broken Bay pearl farm, sit of a tray ready to be inspected during a Pearl Grading experience available at Broken Bay Pearl Farm.

Pearl Grading

A table with an assortment of cold meats, pickles, strawberries, shucked oysters and other delicious foods are available to the guests enjoying a Private Shellar Door Experience.

FARM CRUISES ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Departures from Woy Woy and Killcare public wharfs.

As you are guided through the farm leases, you will be immersed in the incredible marine wilderness of the local bay while learning about the intricate details of the locally grown Australian Akoya pearl.
